Our team is experienced in coordinating and handling local and cross-country OS/OW and/or legal transportation projects. No matter how specialized the freight project is, AFD has the capabilities of getting your cargo to its destination on time and within budget.
JACK AND SLIDE
We perform jack and slide with our own crew and our own equipment.
Jack and slide is a way to set heavy pieces without a crane. Hydraulic jacks lift the load, and then it slides along steel track into its final position.
We use it to set transformers, data center modules, vessels, and other heavy equipment in places where a crane can’t reach or won’t fit.
SAFETY
AFD is not only a transportation company but we are a safe company that practices precaution.
Our drivers follow the rules, are alert, and prepared for unexpected situations.
We have strict driver standards with a rigorous hiring review. We have good CSA scores, which proves our commitment to safety. AFD monitors drivers and loads to ensure safety is being upheld to the highest standard.
